Happy Friday! We have completed another week of school. However, before it ended the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade had the opportunity to take a Field Trip to Boyne Falls to learn about the Fly Wheelers and their preservation of local history. They avoided the rain, it did warm up just a bit on the first day of Fall, and they arrived back to the school with smiles and great memories!

Good Afternoon! Since we are well into our second full week of school, and coming to the end of September, students are bringing on snacks to enjoy throughout the day. We strongly encourage them to have snacks, especially healthy snacks. Even though we would suggest carrots and celery, not even adults would want to eat that everyday. However, a snack with low sugar, less caffeine, and more hydrating is promoted. Have a great evening! Mr. Grangood

Good Morning! With the start of school (Tuesday, August 30) quickly approaching, we would like to address some questions that have come into the office, and try to make the summer-to-school transition a little easier for all of us. First, on our website, we have added a link to "Meal Magic." The link be found on our website. In the righthand corner of the home page, click the menu button. Then, tap the "Student and Parent" option found in the second column. Finally scroll down to the "Meal Magic" link. The attachment will provide instructions to download an app or to complete a meal form electronically. It is quick, easy, and private. However, if you are not tech savvy, we will provide a hard copy form to your child(ren) during the first week of school. Also, on our website, there is another link directly below the "Meal Magic" link labeled, "2022-2023 School Supplies." These are supply ideas based on the grade level for your student(s). School supplies are not mandatory, but are suggested for each student. If you enjoy Back-to-School shopping, and want to buy extra, our staff will happily accept donations of all supplies. Finally, we will have a varsity volleyball season. Practice will start on Monday, August 29. More information will be coming! If interested in playing, please contact the office at (231) 584- 2000. Please remember, all athletes need a physical form completed before practice or participation in any sport. Thank you. Mr. Grangood
